Key Navigational Tools

Welcome to the Landing Page at PCR-360! From this central hub, Users can access an unprecedented degree and depth of data, as well as information concerning their organization's customers, expenses, and operational performance.

While the Landing Page itself hosts a number of powerful tools and helpful resources (see 'Landing Page' section), first consider several basic tools that help Users navigate seamlessly from destination to destination within the application.


The Menu

Flush to the left margin of every page, for example, is a set of three tabs - labeled 'Main', 'Preferences', and 'Admin' - from which users can access the most critical functions provided by PCR-360.

Clicking one of the tabs expands the tab horizontally, revealing its contents and serving as a portal through which users can access different functions and features. Users can also choose to 'Pin' an open tab, keeping the tab open while allowing the user to freely interact with the page currently in use. To use this feature, click the 'push-pin' icon ( ) located beside the top-right corner of the tab.

Main

The majority of navigation items can be accessed from the 'Main' navigation tab. PCR-360 users will find themselves using these tabs to navigate to the application's essential elements on a regular basis. Because of their importance as a navigational tool, PCR-360 affords users the opportunity to interact with the tabs in a number of ways.

By clicking on Main, a user will gain access to the list of all functions that are available on the Main Tab. The 'Main' tab will slide out to the right to reveal a number of new options. These options can be limited by Roles by the SysAdmin for fine grain control of User access.

The full list of Navigation items in the 'Main' tab are Service Desk , Services , Inventory , Cable , Catalog , Reporting , Knowledgebase , People , Communication, and the Dashboard .

Preferences

There are also a number of ways that individual Users can choose to view their menus. For example, users can choose to view the tabs interface as either an 'Icon Stack' or a 'Slide-Out' menu. Likewise, users can choose to have the option of opening tab items by merely hovering over them with the mouse. These options are available through the 'Preferences' tab:

Admin

The Admin tab is only available to SysAdmin users. All the back end functionality of PCR-360 is controlled through this tab.

Bookmarks

Any page that a user frequents often and wishes to have quick access to can be "Bookmarked". At the bottom of every page, users can choose to 'Bookmark' important or often-used pages by hovering over the collapsible tab located on the left margin of this pane  .
