Usage Details

To go to the Usage Details grid, navigate to Admin > Billing > View / Report > Usage Details

The 'Usage Details' grid displays all the specific records from the Usage Import. From this grid, the Admin can generate reports on Usage, View the Import File, and search individual Usage records. For a Usage record to bill, it MUST be associated with a Service. If it is not, the record will fail to bill and be sent to the Usage Detail Errors grid.

Anything that can be billed for that is not a Call or a Charge is billed as Usage. An example might be billing for using hard drive space on a server for storage.

Usage Detail Errors

To go to the Usage Detail Errors grid, navigate to Admin > Billing > View / Report > Usage Detail Errors

If a there is an error with the import or the Bill fails on a Usage record, it will appear on this grid so that a fix for the error can be determined.
