(2024.2) Setting Up Your Scanner
Overview
Once the Big River Barcode App is installed on your Scanner Device, you must ensure that PCR-360 is set up for valid API Credentials.
API Key
The Barcode API requires the User Authentication login. Permissions will need to be granted to Read and Write for the Barcode and Service Desk Endpoint, as well as Read permissions for the SQL Module. The Service Desk Endpoint will also need Read/Write access to UDFs and Remarks.
Valid Users
Users must be added to the API Key to use it, like in the above example.
If your Organization is using a single sign-on integration such as LDAP or Shibboleth, User's passwords must be assigned to those using the scanners. This can be done from the API Key User form.
Use the button to trigger a password reset.
Note: This requires the Password Reset Notification to be active and outgoing email enabled.
