Reporting: Crystal Reports (Deprecated)

Available Crystal Reports
The list of 'Available Crystal Reports' are reports for every day use. This grid provides access to custom designed reports a typical user can access. The reports in this list are managed by the System Administrator. Each report has several functions: viewing, saving, exporting, etc.
Running a Report
To run a given report and view a PDF Preview of the data:
Go to Main > Reporting > Available Crystal Reports
Double click the report, or select the report and click
If report parameters are required, enter them and click
Saving a Historical Version
To save the historical data after running a report:
Run the desired report
Click Save to History
Enter the report Description and click Save
Exporting a Crystal Report
Run the desired report
Click
Choose the desired format
Click
Click OK (The report will be downloaded by your browser)
Emailing a report
Run the desired report
Click
Enter the To email address
Change the Message and Format of the report if desired
Click
Bookmarking a Report
To bookmark a given report:
Go to Main > Reporting > Available Crystal Reports
Select the report, then click the button.
Note: The bookmark will show up in the bottom/southern 360 pane along with any other system bookmarks you’ve created.
Viewing Report Information
To see the author of a given report, it’s direct URL or parameter list:
Go to Main > Reporting > Available Crystal Reports
Select the report, then click the button.
Historical Crystal Reports
These are reports that have been run in the past and are archived along with the data needed to recreate them. They are a snapshot in time and run faster because the data is already stored in the .rpt file on the server (there is no need to query the database).
Running a Report
To run a report:
Go to Main > Reporting > Historical Crystal Reports
Select the report and click the button. After the report is run you can Export and Email the report as specified above.
