(2022.1) Inventory - Remarks

Return Order Activity

The 'Remarks' tab provides the user the ability to add comments and remarks to a specific item in PCR360. Remarks support the use of HTML rich text to make displaying information a richer experience for those that are expected to consume it. For more information on HTML tag usage in PCR, please see the HTML Appendix page. For additional information on formatting using rich text in PCR, please see the Rich Text Fields page.

Adding Remarks

Remarks are useful for adding notes that might need to be recalled in the future. To add a Remark, follow these steps:

  1. Click the 'Add' Add Button button.
  2. This will open the 'Add New Return Order Activity' form.
    Add New Return Order Activity
  3. Enter the Remarks desired into the field.
  4. Click the 'Save New'  Save New Button button.

The Remark will be added to the list along with a User ID and time stamp for tracking.

Edit Selected

Clicking the Edit Selected button will open a data-entry form that displays the text of the Remark. From here a User can add any additional information that is desired to the Remark.

Note: Remember that depending on the system configuration Remarks may not be editable once added.

Delete Selected

Clicking the Delete Selected button will delete any existing Remark.

Note: Remember that depending on the system configuration Remarks may not be possible to delete once added.

Activity/Remarks Tab

The 'Activity/Remarks' tab can be found throughout PCR360. This tab automatically records activity for the specific form in use, such as "Created" or "Updated". From this tab, the User can see a record of all the relevant Activity and/or add Remarks.

Note: Remarks can not be added to items with a status of "Closed"

View Selected

'View Selected' allows the User to see previous Remarks and comments in a read-only format. This is also useful when the content of the Remark is larger then the grid.

  1. Click the 'View Selected'  View Selected button.
  2. The form will open so the User can read all the content of a given Remark.
  3. Close the form when finished.
