(2022.1) System Requirements

PCR-360 Operational Requirements

The PCR-360 System is deployed on an Intel-based web server. The following hardware recommendations indicate resources that should be available to the application. The application runs on a Linux Apache Web Server which is included in the estimates for RAM utilization below. Consult the system's administrator for final system specifications.

NOTE: Hardware specifications change frequently due to manufacturers' specifications. This document should serve as a guideline rather than exact requirements in terms of processor speeds, etc.

Database Server

Hardware Requirements

  • Dual/multi-core CPU 2GHz minimum

  • 100 Mb/s network port (or greater)

  • Disk Space

    • 500GB Hard drive + 1GB per million call records stored online

  • Memory

    • 16 GB RAM minimum

    • 32 GB RAM recommended

  • Tape or backup device

Software Requirements

  • Ubuntu Linux 22.04 (LTS) or later

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+

    • NOTE: CentOS 8 is no longer supported.

  • One of these supported Database Services:

    • Mysql 8.0/Percona 8.0+  (supported with PCR-360 2021.1 or later).

    • Oracle: 12c (12.2) or greater is required.

      • Note: Oracle is not supported for new installs; existing installations require Oracle version 12.2 or greater.

  • For MySQL the database must be configured with the UTF8 character set. For MySQL 8 utf8mb4 and utf8mb4_unicode_ci are supported as well. Currently, other character sets and collations are not supported.

  • For Oracle, the AL32UTF8 character set is fine.

Web Server

Hardware Requirements

  • Dual/multi-core CPU 2GHz minimum

  • 100 Mb/s network port (or greater)

  • 100GB Hard drive (allocated for /var/www/pcr360)

  • RAM requirements based on simultaneous users:

    • 1 - 1,000: 8GB

    • 1,000 - 5,000: 12GB

    • 5,000+ Please contact PCR

Software Requirements

  • Ubuntu Linux 22.04 (LTS) or later

  • Red Hat Enterprise Linux 8+

    • NOTE: CentOS 8 is no longer supported

  • Apache 2.4 HTTP server (SSL) configured

  • PHP version

    • PHP 8.1: PCR-360 Versions 2022.1.5 or later and 2022.2 or later — supplied and installed by PCR

    • PHP 7.4: No longer receives security updates. All customers need to upgrade to newer versions of PCR-360 (2022.1 or later) and PHP 8.1

      • PHP version 7.4 (PCR-360 Versions 2021.1 through 2022.1.4) — supplied and installed by PCR

    • PHP 7.2: No longer receives security updates. All customers need to upgrade to newer versions of PCR-360 (2021.1 or later) and PHP (7.4 or later).

      • PHP version 7.2 (PCR-360 Versions 2018.1 through 2020.2) — supplied and installed by PCR

      • PHP version 7.2 or PHP 7.4 (PCR-36 Versions 2020.3 through 2020.4) — supplied and installed by PCR

  • Required PHP extensions — installed and provided by PCR

  • Oracle client or Oracle Instant client (version 11.2 or greater) (if Oracle is used)

Supported Web Browsers

  • Chrome (preferred with auto-update service enabled)

  • Firefox (preferred with auto-update service enabled)

  • Microsoft Edge 84+ (Chromium Edition with auto-update service enabled)

  • Additional Browser Requirements:

    • Cookies and Javascript MUST be enabled in the browser

    • The URL to your service should be added to the "Permit" list of the browser's built-in popup blocker or add-ons

    • CustomerCenter requires a minimum screen resolution size of 1280 x 720

  • Other browsers may be compatible but have not been fully tested

Note: Microsoft Internet Explorer is not supported

Communication Adapter Modules

The Communication Interfaces developed by PCR-360 are not a part of general PCR-360 functionality and require the purchase of a license for each Module.

Avaya Interface

In addition to PCR-360 System Requirements, the Avaya Interface requires the Avaya Call Manager to be on Application Enablement Services (AES) v6 or later.

Cisco Interface

In addition to PCR-360 System Requirements, the Cisco Interface requires the Cisco Call Manager to be on Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) v10.5 or later.
