When there is a need to remove equipment from the On Hand amount in the Warehouse, Bulk Update can be used to accomplish this task. In Equipment Bulk Update can be used to remove large volumes of Equipment from On Hand counts in a Warehouse. In order to remove equipment from the On Hand amount, a Non-Available Status must be chosen. The Status Dropdown for Bulk Update that contains the Non-Available "Unavailable:" Statuses is found here after either the 'Bulk Update Selected'after either the Image Modified button or the 'Bulk Update All' Image Modified button is selected:Image Removed.

The following Statuses are considered to be "Non-AvailableUnavailable" Statuses and have the ability to remove Equipment from the On-Hand Status Column in the Warehouse:

• Assigned
• Retired
• Broken
• Lost
• On Order
• Returned
• Staged
• Picked Up
• Installed

Note: The 'Unassigned' Status will remove Equipment from the other Statuses and insert them back into the 'On Hand' Status in the Warehouse with Bulk Update.

Bulk Update gives a User the ability to remove large amounts of Equipment from Inventory Counts at once. This is useful if there is ever a massive recall of a specific piece of equipment or if a job or an installation requires a large amount of equipment (i.e. setting up a new facility). However, the User must exercise extreme caution when using Bulk Update for the use of removing Equipment from Inventory Counts in this manner. If a mistake is made in terms of deleting too much if a particular piece of equipment, or the wrong type of equipment is removed, it will adversely affect Inventory Counts and the tracking of Inventory.
