(v1) .IP Address Management Grid v2022.2
Overview
When an IP Address is added to either a piece of (v1) Equipment or a Port/Pin/Len record, PCR-360 will check if that IP Address is already in use. If no existing IP Address records match the new IP Address, then PCR-360 will automatically add it to the IP Address Management Grid. If a match is found, then, it will use that IP Address. If the IP Address is not assigned the status of "in-use". If the IP Address is in the "in-use" status, the save attempt will fail, unless the IP Address is defined to be an internal address.
Internal IP Addresses can be configured using the internalCIDR parameter.
IP Addresses in the "reserved" status will prompt a User attempting to assign the IP Address for a record, to alert them that, that IP Address is intended for a specific item.
