Dashboard Adding a Widget

Users are encouraged to add widgets to their Dashboard for instant access to relevant or regularly visited websites.

Adding System Widgets

To add a widget, click the 'Configure' button located on the Grid Toolbar above the top-right corner of the Dashboard. Clicking 'Configure' displays the Dashboard in edit mode, presenting the user with several options: 'Add Widget', 'Add Custom Widget/Graph', and 'Reset to Default'. To add a widget, click 'Add Widget'.

In the Manage Existing Widget form, the User is prompted to select 'Available System Widgets' or 'Available Custom Widgets' from drop-down lists. To add existing widgets, check the box next to each available choice and click 'Save Widget(s)'. The new widgets appears on the Dashboard.

Adding Custom Widgets

Of course, Users may want to select Widgets that are not listed as System defaults. To add custom Widgets, click the 'Configure' button on the Grid Toolbar above the top-right corner of the Dashboard and click 'Add Custom Widget/Graph'.

In the Add a Custom Widget form, the User can create a widget one of two ways: filling in fields from the Chart/Graph Widget tab or entering a viable URL. Once both fields have been satisfied, click the 'Save Widget' button at the bottom of the form. The new customized widget appears on the Dashboard.
