(v1) 360 View: Cable

The 'Manage Cable 360 View' form will provide the User with a 360 Degree view of a given Cable.

Buttons

•   button - moves to the previous Cable record in the grid.
•   button - moves to the next Cable record in the grid.

Details

The 'Details' tab will show primary information like the 'Cable' and 'Status Counts'. This View functions as a summary of each Cable that is located with the 360 Search.

Cable

In the 'Cable' section, the User will see the 'Cable Name', 'Cable Type', 'Owner', 'Count', 'Low Pair/Strand', 'High Pair/Strand', 'Length', and 'Signal Loss'. This information comes from the 'Cable' section of the Manage Cable form.

Status Counts

In the Status Counts section, the User can see the Pairs/Strands that are 'Assigned', 'Spare', 'Pend Conn', 'Pend Disc', 'PDPC', 'Bad', 'Reserved', 'Unknown'. This summary comes from the Status field of each Pair/Strands tab on the Manage Cable form.

Pairs/Strands

The grid on the 'Pairs/Strands' tab will show all the Pairs/Strands associated with the Cable.

•  button - will load the current Path on a new tab. Each item associated with the Cable can be clicked by the User to load the appropriate form for the given item.

•  button - will open the relevant Service Desk item's form related to a Cable, if there is a Service Desk item available.

The Pairs/Strands here can also be Reported on as on any other grid.
